On April the 1st, we had the final event of the first storytelling workshop on Easter Tales, designed by the Italian Storytelling Center to explore stories of rebirth and transformation. Here, a photo gallery with all the storytellers performing their stories by the reaver.
In a few days, we will be in Edinburgh. We will perform at Italian Cultural Institute, the workshop on interreligious dialogue that we designed with the Interreligious Museum of Bertinoro, in the framework of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival. Portico di Romagna, headquarter of the Italian Storytelling Center, grows up as a town of stories. Tonight, spontaneuosly, our friends from Lebanon, Scotland, the Netherlandss and Germany decided to take a walk together and share the best stories of their traditions.
Therefore, along the street of Portico di Romagna, we heard Shahrazād in Arabic, Jean Cocteau in French, William Shakespeare in Enghlis. And a poetry in dialect. Little magic of a summer night.
The Italian Storytelling Center has made new friends: Thomas and Paola, founders of Santa Maria Ferrano. With them, next September, we will explore stories of ancient and feminine wisdom. We hope this way to help them to establish a community with higher awareness, as Thomas describes it for us.
The Scottish International Storytelling Festival of Edimburgh, the main storytelling Festival in Europe, includes in its 2017 program our workshop on the dialogue between the three main world monotheism. The event will be hosted by the Italian Cultural Institute.
The flier of “The Nature of this Moment” is out. “The Nature of this Moment” is the storytelling workshop that Giovanna Conforto and Roi Gal-Or, both of them teachers of the International Storytelling School of Forest Row, will give at the Italian Storytelling Center of Portico di Romagna from August the 20th to August the 27th.
