On Saturday December the 30th 2017, in the town center of Portico di Romagna, the capital of nativities, we shared the stories of the storytelling workshop Christmas Tales 2017. Old and new friends of the Italian Storytelling Center performed 8 Christmas stories, both traditional and personal. Each participant told the story he/she was give as a gift by another participant. We had stories about a vegan wolf, a warm at heart old lady, a honest baker, a doubled Santa Claus, a wise ox, an intriguing bus tour and the hidden characters of the nativity. Giovanna Conforto, Creative Director of the Italian Storytelling Center, introduces us all the news about the 2017 edition of the storytelling workshop on Christmas Tales.
During Settimana del Buon Vivere 2017, Donald Smith, director of TRACS (Traditional Art and Culture Scotland), will visit the Italian Storytelling Center. Along with our creative director, Giovanna Conforto, Donald will run some innovative exercises of storytelling and landscape narrative.
During th 2017 edtion of Settimana del Buon Vivere, the Italian Storytelling Center in collaboration with Museo Interreligioso di Bertinoro presents “The Thruth and the Three Rings”, the storytelling workshop that stimulates the dialogue between religions. The event will take place on Saturday September the 30th at 3pm, in the church of San Giacomo in Forlì.
Once again, stories have colonized Portico di Romagna. Tellers from the UK, Hungary, Malta and Italy have performed the stories designed during the workshop “The Nature of This Moment” under the guidance of the Jewish storyteller Roy Gal-Or, co-founder of the International School of Storytelling of Forest Row. In the town center of Portico di Romagna, the tellers performed stories about the beginning, revealing the secret origins of natural phenomena such as the tides and the Taiwanese mountains.

The italian Storytelling Center organizes the first event of the festival “Quattro storie in padella” (Kitchen Stories), the festival that brings together storytelling and gastronomy.
